Heating & Cooling

Whether you need heat or A/C depends on when and where you intend to take your conversion. We use a diesel furnace to heat the air, water, floors, or anything else you want to keep warm. The diesel can be pulled from a secondary tank or the existing one so as long as your van has enough diesel to drive, you’ll stay warm. We also install A/C units as well as windows with vents and rooftop fan vents into many of our conversions.

Heating Systems

The heating systems are all run through the same diesel motor. This motor heats up glycol to run through each system. The hot glycol can then be used to heat water, air or the floors within the conversion. Since many of the vans we convert run on diesel already, it makes adding a secondary tank or larger tank a good way to keep the van filled as well as run your heating systems for a long time.

A/C and Fan

If you’re planning on doing any desert camping, or just want to stay comfortable all summer, an A/C unit is an easy way to achieve that goal. With or without an A/C unit, rooftop fans act as a great way to keep a breeze coming through the van or to let some air out when the van starts to get stuffy.

Window & Flare Extensions

Even if you get a cargo van with no windows or vents, we can install a full selection. Our master window installers are able to cut windows, vents, A/C units, and flare extensions into any of our conversions. We also provide custom curtains for any openings in the van.
