Electrical systems

Off grid living requires independent electrical systems that can self sustain, and keep you as plugged in or tuned out as you’d like. Depending on the amenities you would like in the conversion, we tune each system to fulfill those requirements perfectly. See how we scale each system to fit your needs.

simple

Keep the lights on and phones charged. If you’re requiring minimal electrical systems we’ll be sure to keep your solar electric system simple. Battery capacity can remain low by using only 12V. A 200Ah battery system is enough for a few charging ports and some LEDs. This can be powered by a small solar panel and a link to the alternator as a backup.

Independent for days

If you’re looking to do some work on the road, and maybe plug in an induction cook top every once and a while for a home cooked meal in your van, this is your setup. More robust than our simple system, with 400Ah of battery power, a 2000W inverter, and more solar capacity you’ll be ready to get out in the backcountry in comfort.

This provides a shore power exterior plug in, 3000W inverter, battery capacity scalable to any size, and any number of outlets within the van. Run your induction stove top, refrigerator, sink and AC unit without a problem.
